So in the end I'm 0/3 for the panel lottery and now my only real options appear to be the LG and Viewsonic Elite that's due to be released next month. I'm not doubting there are some good panels out there but fuck playing the lottery to eventually get one. I bet they both send out just as many shit panels as each other. My first order though was the Asus PG279Q and its backlight bleed was even worse than the Acer's.in fact, the whole reason I tried the Acer was because people said they have better QC than the Asus.yeah no. Who the fuck wants to sit at an angle at their desk.ever? Tried playing AC Origins with it and couldn't see shit in caves etc, and you could notice it on dark backgrounds when web browsing etc. It was definitely IPS glow as it faded when you put your neck to the side but that was the ONLY way I could get rid of it. My second one had less blb but instead this horrible orange glow covering the bottom 1/4 of the screen. My first one had horrible backlight bleeding around all edges, you couldn't not notice it on dark backgrounds and games.
